Who we are
Hello!
We are Cecilia and Monika, full-time scientists, respectively postDoctoral researcher at the University of Utah (USA) and tenure-track Assistant Professor at Aahrus University (Denmark).
We both travelled and lived in many countries for research purposes... We moved across Italy, Switzerland, Estonia, England, USA, and Denmark!
And, most of all, we are best friends since birth.
Our Mission
FA.RE.MO is an accessible platform that provides information to researchers - specifically grad students - interested in going abroad for exchange. The hosting institutes are also welcome to use the platform to contact possibly perspective students.Explore our platform, read the experience from previous exchange researchers and find your next destination!

Wondering about living a research experience abroad but lacking of chances?
Are you looking for a lab/institute to host you but you don't know where to start?FA.RE.MO is the platform dedicated to researchers like you, that would like to explore the possibilities offered by the academic (and not only) communities.
How does it work?
1. Identify and submit 3 keywords from the list, by selecting:
First keyword about your home research
Second keyword about your home research
Third keyword about your planned mobility research
2. Submit them through the dedicated button and wait for the list of matching institutes that are joining our community as hosting partners.
3. Once you have the contact of the hosting partner, send the required information (abroad period proposal, subject of research to be conducted, VISA requirements, approval mail from your home-university supervisor etc).
Finally, remember to check the specific requirements from the destination institute!
